Enjoy a peaceful, tropical feeling as the refreshing Maui trade winds blow consistently through this 700 square foot , 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage. Separate from the main house, it is situated on an half-acre in rural Haiku, on the northeast tip of Maui. This cottage is legally permitted (#BBPH2009/0008) by the County of Maui for short term stays (less than 6 months).

Surveying the grounds from the 250 square feet of decking, you are surrounded by fruit trees (lemon, lime, papaya, banana,). Colorful (heliconia, ginger, hibiscus, bougainvillea) and fragrant (jasmine, gardenia, ginger, plumeria) tropical plants are there to greet you.

The roomy deck’s southern exposure allows for lazy, relaxing sunbathing on the comfy chairs

and bar-b-queing on the gas grill.

Inside, the living room (17’ x 13’) (5.2m x 3.9m) is bright and airy with lots of windows

and a vaulted ceiling with a large fan.

All the comforts of home including hardwood floors, FREE high-speed wireless Internet, cable Flat screen TV,

VCR/DVD, stereo/CD/IPOD dock, cordless telephone & answer machine.

Complete kitchen: range/oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker (sorry, no dishwasher!).

Master bedroom is 12’ 6" x 11’ 6" (3.8m x 3.5m) and has a queen size bed, large closet and ceiling fan.

Cordless phone and IPOD dock, too.

The guest room is 9’6" x 8’6" (2.9m x 2.6m) with a full size bed, closet and ceiling fan.

Free washer and dryer on-site in the carport. Beach chairs, cooler, bodyboards also included. 

Sleepy Ha’iku town is only a 2 minute drive from the cottage. Escape the hustle and bustle of Kahului and Kihei, and enjoy the small town convenience of U.S. Post Office, grocery stores, pharmacy, gym, yoga center, pizza joint, bakery, restaurants & more!

Take the picturesque drive back down the Hana Highway to Ho’okipa Beach Park in just 5 minutes. Paia town is only 10 minutes from the cottage. And Kahului (Airport/Kanaha Beach Park) in about 20 minutes.
